Trinity United Methodist Church offers unique worship experiences, community activities, and holy fellowship, as we seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Our worship services are structured but casual. Attending on a typical Sunday morning, you will sit next to smiling people wearing suits and ties, or jeans and t-shirts. You will find children of all ages - from newborn infants to great grandparents. There is no requirement to attend - nobody is expected to toe-the-line or agree with everything the pastor says. Pastor Dan is known for saying, "It's not our role to teach you WHAT to think theologically, but HOW to think theologically."
We typically share Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month, in commemoration of the Last Supper Jesus shared with his disciples. In the United Methodist tradition, we serve an Open Table, which means that there is no test to qualify. If you find yourself desiring the grace of God, you are invited to the Lord's Table!
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday at 9 AM, Central Time!
Kentland Trinity has a long tradition in Kentland but we turned over a new leaf in 2010 when we built this modern church facility. We ask that you come and see Trinity new and for the first time.
